Advance Fluid Power
is a business partnership specialising in hydraulic and pneumatic engineering, set up by two dedicated individuals. Their work is labour intensive often requiring both partners on site.With a busy workbook their main problem was not in finding the jobs, but in handling the volume of paperwork. The tasks of costing jobs and preparing invoices took up much of their free time, evenings and weekends, encroaching on what little remaining personal and family time they still had.
As with some specialist businesses, we are not always able to produce their sales invoices, but we set up a system which enables them to produce their own which they can forward directly to us. From herein it is out of their hands, we draw up the invoices and dispatch them to their customers. We also produce monthly statements and provide credit control, chasing outstanding invoices and dealing directly with their customers accounts queries.
Our invisible hand in their small business has not only improved their cashflow , it has also freed up huge amounts of their time, for both family/personal and continuing to grow their business.

specalise in fine art printing and framing. They are the choice printer and framer for distinguished artist Rodney Matthews. (Right)As is a familiar story with most small businesses, finding the time to keep all of the bookkeeping up to date is difficult. For Lis and Dave, all their time was spent in the workshop, their business was growing and so was the mountain of paperwork.
After being instructed, we quickly worked through the backlog then implemented a system which reduced the volume of work Lis and Dave had to do themselves. We now visit PriceLis once a month to process the most recent paperwork.
