The final date for CJRS claims under the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme is the 30th November 2020. This scheme has been active since the 30th March 2020, where the government has funded 80% of an employee’s wages in an effort to allow people to stay home during the summer peak of COVID-19.
The Job Support Scheme will become active from the 1st November 2020, which encourages employees to be in ‘viable jobs’ and work at least a third of their usual hours. This aims to encourage people to get back to work and offer continued support from our Government during this difficult time.
